THE MAN WHO COINED LOVE JIHAD
Pratheesh Vishwanath, the founder of Hindu Seva Kendram and a prominent Hindu activist, asserted to be the one coining the term “Love Jihad,”. He leads a team working around the clock to counteract Love Jihad in Kerala and support victims in reintegrating into society. Hindu Seva Kendram operates as a micro-level institution at the panchayat level, focusing on missionary-style work to assist Hindus in need. It is a unique grassroots model addressing the fundamental needs of Hindus within a given panchayat. The organization ensures the systematic resolution of issues faced by individuals and families, offering a 24/7 care center for comprehensive assistance to the Hindu community. The goals encompass addressing challenges faced by Hindus, preventing religious conversions, combating Love Jihad by empowering Hindu girls and women, nurturing young Hindu talents, and providing effective marital counseling. Additional objectives involve securing government funds for disadvantaged Hindus, supporting the education of underprivileged children, establishing Hindu Dharma Prachar libraries, study centers, and counseling facilities for women, children, and students, as well as promoting entrepreneurship.
