DISTURBING ISSUES IN TAMIL NADU: THE NEED FOR A MASS MOVEMENT TO SAFEGUARD HINDUISM

disturbing issues in Tamil Nadu :- The Need for a Mass Movement to Safeguard Hinduism.

In recent times, Tamil Nadu has been facing alarming issues that demand immediate attention and action. One of the most disturbing reports involves the disappearance of stray cats and dogs in Chennai. Animal lovers have discovered that these animals are being picked up at night and allegedly sold for meat to biryani shops. These shops, which operate during late hours, have raised concerns about the quality and ingredients used in their dishes, prompting fears that dog and cat meat might be mixed into the food. This practice, though highlighted recently, has been going on for a long time, with incidents reported as far back as a train from Rajasthan bringing dog meat into the state.

The problem extends beyond the use of stray animals. There is a systematic infiltration of Hindu areas by other communities, leading to significant demographic changes. The government has been using food festivals, particularly those promoting beef biryani and slowly islamization, to appease the Muslim community. This approach not only influences dietary habits but also shifts cultural and religious dynamics.

To counter these issues, a mass movement is crucial. Such a movement should aim to protect Hinduism and support Hindu businesses. Key suggestions include:

Supporting Hindu Businesses: Promote economic growth within the Hindu community by using UPI for payments and consciously choosing Hindu vendors.

Promoting Hindu Traditions: Encourage regular visits to temples and adherence to Hindu rituals and traditions to strengthen cultural identity.

Raising Awareness: Highlight the injustices and threats to Hinduism through organized efforts and community solidarity.

Economic Boycotts: Avoid businesses that do not respect Hindu values or contribute to the undermining of Hindu culture.

Community Solidarity: Foster a strong sense of Hindu identity to resist and respond to insults and challenges effectively.

The monopoly of the biryani business and the spread of Halal certification have contributed to the control of the narrative by a particular community, necessitating a unified response from Hindus. The silence of many Tamilians in the face of these challenges is often due to a weak identification with their Hindu identity, which must be reinforced.

The call to action includes inspiring at least ten people to vote and support the nation’s growth, reflecting the need for political engagement and awareness. In conclusion, the safeguarding of Hinduism in Tamil Nadu requires a collective effort to support Hindu businesses, strengthen cultural practices, and raise awareness about the issues affecting the community.
