GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY HELD AT ZURICH SIVAN TEMPLE FOR NEW TEMPLE CONSTRUCTION

Zurich, nestled in the northern region of Switzerland, boasts a significant Hindu community. Recently, the city held an impressive Bhumi Pooja ceremony spanning two days from March 22nd to March 24th to mark the beginning of constructing a Lord Shiva temple. The Saiva Tamil Sangam concluded a three-day Bhumi Puja during this period to initiate the construction of a new Shiva temple adjacent to their existing warehouse temple, situated in an industrial area near the airport in Zurich, Switzerland. Throughout the three-day Bhumi Puja, the Saiva Tamil Sangam orchestrated an array of activities, including Vedic Yagnams and other rituals, to commemorate the auspicious occasion. A congregation of devotees and priests joined in chanting Vedic mantras to elevate the sanctity of the location, transforming it into a revered sanctuary dedicated to Lord Shiva.
