On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, the Ram Temple in Ayodhya experienced a divine phenomenon as the forehead of the idol of Ram Lalla was adorned with a celestial ray of sunlight, known as ‘Surya Tilak’. This remarkable event occurred on Wednesday, April 17, and lasted for about three minutes at noon. The temple trust commissioned a team of scientists who meticulously planned the process, utilizing mirrors and lenses within the temple premises to ensure precise illumination. Employing their scientific expertise, the team directed sunlight onto the statue’s forehead, creating the spectacular ‘Surya Tilak’ mark. Devotees were mesmerized by this extraordinary occurrence, which added a divine touch to the Ram Navami celebrations.
