BJP ACCUSES RAHUL GANDHI OF DIVISIVE TACTICS

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has formally lodged a complaint with the Election Commission of India against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, alleging that he is actively engaged in efforts to sow division within the country, particularly along linguistic and regional lines. The complaint, lodged amidst the charged political atmosphere preceding the upcoming elections, accuses Gandhi, the Member of Parliament from Wayanad, of orchestrating misinformation campaigns on critical issues such as poverty and the notion of ‘One Nation One Leader One Language’.

The BJP contends that Gandhi’s speeches and actions are aimed at creating discord between the North and South regions of India. They accuse him of consistently spreading falsehoods and promoting divisive agendas, posing a threat to the unity and integrity of the nation. Tarun Chugh, a BJP spokesperson, expressed concerns over Gandhi’s alleged attempts to instigate a rift between different parts of the country, emphasizing that such actions undermine the country’s cohesion.

Furthermore, the BJP reiterated its commitment to linguistic diversity and highlighted its dedication to the development and promotion of the Tamil language, noting its inclusion in the party’s manifesto. Chugh emphasized the BJP’s respect for all languages and its recognition of Tamil as one of the world’s oldest languages, underscoring the party’s efforts to foster linguistic harmony within the country.
